Devouring Rage is a musical project created by Alessandro Zambetti, developer from Bergamo, in 2005.
Alessandro, from a young age, was particularly attracted to the underground musical environment, and soon also began to participate in it: in 1999, at 16, he became a composer and singer in a Rap group (Sky Clan) and at 18 years old a singer in a Ska group. -Punk (Buzen).
At 20 he began to discover new musical genres such as EBM and Dark Synth (Wumpscut, Suicide Commando, Hocico, Covenant) and to frequent environments more aimed at underground electronics: Tekno-Rave in abandoned factories and Dark festivals, where the sounds particular, powerful and evocative captivate him, leading him to the decision to independently learn to compose music through the use of software; all to be able to listen to the tracks "As I like them" while he moves for work in the van.
Over the years, after having also played in a couple of raves in the Bergamo area, he does not lose his passion for composing music, and from more violent and fast genres such as Drum & Bass, HardTek, Frenchcore, Industrial and Dark Synth, he moves on to calmer genres and "committed", such as Cyberpunk soundtracks and classical music, with inspirations taken in particular from Japanese animation (Joe Hisaishi, composer for Hayao Miyazaki's masterpieces), from Cyberpunk filmography (Blade Runner, Akira, Ghost in the Shell) , from videogames (Syndicate, Final Fantasy) and in general from the Cyberpunk and Synthwave environment.
In recent years he has released his most recent tracks on major online distribution channels.
Devouring Rage is a project carried out by Alessandro as a hobby, together with many others who have later turned into work, such as having founded a Web Agency (AZ-Web), so the cadence of publication of new compositions is casual and sporadic. , in the hope that one day even this musical project can become a more concrete and known reality.
